Hello, my name is Shay Gray.

A South Mississippi native, Shay Gray is an author, poet, educator, and entrepreneur who loves to create and inspire others.

Shay started doing spoken word poetry in 2016 and has since been booked to speak at various events. She completed her first book of poems “Return of the Crown” in November 2020 and published it in February 2021.

She began her teaching and coaching career in 2014. Impacting the youth and guiding their learning has always been a passion of hers. She’s currently leading one of the top CTE Athletic Training & Sports Medicine Programs on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Her brand Forever Purposed was created in 2017 to encourage others to pursue their gifts & dreams authentically. Her greatest hope is that her work will incite imagination to anyone willing to “grow a garden of triumph out of mustard seeds.”

When she isn’t working, Shay enjoys traveling and showing others how to become travel business owners.
